We all have to pay taxes...

 We(Canada) do not need to claim
any winnings from poker.Just like We dont have to Claim any lotto winnings.

The only time I won anything was a drawing in a grocery store for a $50 voucher.  I have to admit I thought it was pretty cool at the time.

Depends on amount and country you won cash from!  Yes I do since it is not Canadian land based!  Both the country's  and Canada since it is more than one country, hence legal issue !

Carrying $10,000 or over Canadian  border may it be from US or England and other countries has to be declared and yes even taxed (in both countries in some instance ) since you did not have that cash at beginning of year.  Hope they do not notice or catch you or any one else.  Wink

I want to keep my life legal!  Better check it out.  Do not how low the amount has to be to not be taxed!

border is different from  -$$$- winnings from poker.

Lotto Winning Generates Millions - Does not have to be Claimed.
Poker I am sure is the same but I could be wrong but its the first
time I heard of claiming it.

If it does have to be claimed I hope no one gets caugt also because
I doubt anyone claims it.You might one of the very few that do.

I Try to keep everything legal also but I stick it to the goverment
every chance I get.Why not They do it to us.

I think the government would be more worried about the sites themselves knowingly operating illegally than those who use them.  They are the ones making all the money.
