Ahhh, to escape the snow in 11 days. I am heading to Florida for the winter but not before another blast of snow and cold pummel Minnesota again. Today got to 25 degrees. Warm enough that I drove my grandson to and from school. Nice that no frost was on the windows when I went to start the vehicle. My vehicle has no heater, so I try to drive during daylight hours. I had a mechanic fix the heater when I was in Florida a year and a half ago. Just don't understand my luck with heaters and vehicles.

Anyhow, I am leaving to Florida in two Mondays, and I definitely do not want to be sitting in a cold vehicle on the drive down. So hopefully the temp will be wamer than this next Monday is being. I hear a high of zero, and a low of -9 and let's not forget a 15 mph wind blowing and drifting snow which will fall Saturday into Sunday up to 9 inches of the white stuff. I have already shoveled the driveway twice this season, and am ready to be done snow shoveling for the season.

I have seen a few icehouses out on the lake near here. Brrr, not me.
