How can my wife and I play the Optimuspoker North American $150 game on Optimuspoker without it being considered collusion? As best as I can tell it is only scheduled on Saturday night at 9 pm cst. And the $300 game is only on Sundays at that time. My wife, hmeow29, and I are both members of this forum and both have accounts at Optimuspoker but if I read the rules correctly if we were to play in the same game together then we could possibly share information on each others hole cards and that would constitute cheating or collusion I think its called so unless one of us plays one week and then one plays the next I don't know of any other way we could do it. And if we do it that way I'm afraid the Tour will be over before we have a chance to use all of our free tickets. Can you advise if my assumptions on collusion are correct and offer any possible solution(s). Thank you.

well i for one know of several couples that play under those same conditions. if the site will allow you both to play then i wouldnt worry about it. after all it would really take alot more than a twosome to perp a collusion. and i use to play with some frat house boys that were.... how should i say .....less than discretionary about there hands to each other.
but you need to do what you know is right. if you think it may bring you grief later on. then i would say weigh it out and see which way the scales of justice lean.  just my opinion not sure if it really helped.

Smiley Yep, it's a hard one.
I know when we started playing online, several sites asked for ID's from the both of us.  And some sites let you play.  Others don't.
And I think it boils down to how you play if you are at the same table together. (yes, that does happen).
Me? I'd just as soon take the hubby out..with a good hand..as I would our BOSS!!
I am hoping PFP will stop by and maybe explain how the sites deal with it.
Some sites won't even let us play the same game..(ISP address the same), others will.
In the past 5 years of playing online, we have never had a problem.
I am sure you will find a solution that will work for you.
Maybe PFP would have some suggestions.

ever since this post i have begun to notice more and more common cities at thwas ve same table. were as before it was very far and few between. although it doesnt mean collusion. it very well might in some cases. if lose who cares?? but if they win............get a rope and find a large tree.
