Hey, I am new to this site, and new to poker as well. I know a group of friends of mine who play poker together. I always wanted to play with them, but don't know how.
I wanted to start learning by playing online poker. Any tips for a newbie?
Are there good sites to start on?
Any tips would be appreciated!!!

Welcome to PFP !!!!

You came to the right forum if you want to learn.Lots of helpfull and good players at PFP.

My advice is- the best way to learn is to Play.Join a site or two and play only the freerolls to start and forum games. Most Forums have good players. The more u play the better  you will get.Once you get confident in your game  try some small buy ins with the money you won playing the freerolls.

Here is a topic on the forum with a number of different sites you can download if you choose to.

Good Luck !!!!

Solution to the glass is half full - half empty ......

If you are taken something out of the glass than its half empty if you are putting something in the glass than its half full..

yes underdog has it right, join some sites and forums. forums are great places to enhance your knowledge of the game. play freerolls to increase your experience, knowledge, confidence, and hopefully bankroll! play, play, play! the more hands you play the more you will gain insight into the game. best of luck to you and welcome to pfp Grin
