i call $30 with A 10 and the button raises to $120 I think a minute because hes been raising on the button alot.  So i reraise to $480 and he think a minute then just calls.   Everyone else folds.  The flop is  Q 10 8.  I bet the pot and he hesitates and raises all in.   And after some debate I call the turn is a 5 and the river is a an ace.  I lost this hand.  This was the worst misread and donkish call I ever made a pair of Queens Ace high beat me

You say the flop was Q, 10, 8, Turn 5 and river an Ace

You had: 2 pair - A's 10's
So what hand did he have ?
It would have to be more than, Q's w/ ace high to beat you.

Ya what did the other player have to beat you
I am guessing he had A Q.If that was the case
and he was aggressive raisin all the time like you
said I would off just called the first raise to see
if I hit something than if I did checked it to see
what the other player would off done.Your in a tough
spot there with middle pair and an ace kicker playing
against an aggressive player.I don't think I would off
called an all in .If he was aggressive you could
wait until another hand to take his money when you
have  some better cards. The other player betting like
that I would say it safe to say he has an A or a pocket
pair so so he could off hit Tripp's or two pair when the A
came on the river.Hard to get away from 2 pair when you are
playing against an aggressive player.

Solution to the glass is half full - half empty ......

If you are taken something out of the glass than its half empty if you are putting something in the glass than its half full..

I play like quite a puss sometimes and taken alot of horrible beats so when you say that he was raising alot he coulda been raising with J 9 suited and if a possible straght is out there I dont think I could call all inn with only middle pair. That wasnt the case but with that out there and he pushes I guess thats where I would say you made an error,I wouldnt have the balls for that call.

Even a loose aggressive player has a Real hand sometimes. I wouldn,t have re-raised pre-flop. I wouldn,t call that the biggest mistake but I feel it made you try the continuation RAISE of the pot after the flop to show strength. A continuation RAISE of 1/2 the pot would have given you the same information IMO and again not committed you as much to the ALL IN call. Then the ALL IN call with middle pair was the biggest mistake. I think the whole hand was played wrong from start to end. Committing yourself and the failure to abandon the losing hand.

A10 however playabe is an extremely trappable hand,  in big cash games I try to keep the pots small with these kind of hands, of course if you have a read you have a read.  IT is easy to figure where you went wrong in hind site, on the other hand if you had won I wouldnt be able to say this, but I would of immidiately folded to the reraise as I know I will be having to make tough decision on flop, turn and river barring a miracle flop... too much money involved to count on that.
