I came across some sites that buy and sell Play money chips for certain poker rooms.Any one else find this a little crazy.Who would Buy Play chips for real money.Why not just take your real money to a real money table and play.

Some off the offers I found where.

Someone looking to buy 1 million play chips  for $10
350,000 being sold for $7.50
and a place that sells 1 million play chips for $16
1 million play chips being sold for $3

i sold some play chips once at poker.com.   i had over 1 million in chips.  at 1 time you weren't able to reload but once a day(1k play chips a day).  so they were in demand.  i still have half a million,  any takers? Tongue

At Carbon underdog140 if you want to get real money you can play 3 sit and goes with play money to get real money!

First you have to play in a 6 seat game called Fun Step 1 if you win the coupon to Fun Step 2 and win the coupon to Fun Step 3 and win it you get real cash to play at the tables.

Believe it or not please try it and have fun to all that do. Cheesy  Just make sure you qualify!  Ask Carbon support for help to see how to qualify for a fun step coupon!

I tryed those sit n go games at Carbon before they are realy hard to win but fun to play if you have nothing else or no other game to play and just want to pass some time.

I have seen quite a few sites that buy and sell play chips, especially for PokerStars.  Apparently there are a lot of people that are interested in buying play money, because from what I've heard a few of those sites do quite well.  They'll buy a million play chips for let's say $10 and sell them for $15 or so.

a while ago people was able to buy into a playmoney tourny on pokerhost and it payed 3 places in real money wasnt bad dont know why they did away with it

There was one fult tilt also.I think you need 500,000 play chips to play in it but not sure.
