I have had so many superior dominating hands; only to get out-drawn , won,t use Sukked-out here but even some obvious Sukk-outs too do apply. I understand it,s ALL Nice and and Polite to say NH or GG.
But I have pocket QQ,s and Push,, Bet Hard only to be called by ACE - 4 O (rags) and 2 aces hit the board !! And 3 players or more at the table say NH Huh Sorry that,s not a good hand !! That,s a 3 outer at best and i would fold Ace-8 O against such a big raise so it may have been a 2 Outer. So PLEASE don,t say Nice hand. It,s non deserving.  Sad
Likewise so many really NICE Players always say GG even after there DONKED out by some of the worst players ever seen who just Lucked out. That,s all nice but I don,t hand out the congrats like that. Yea I,m grumpy at times. But I always call them as i see them.
If I say NH to you it means something. Its a well played hand. It,s not an ALL IN AA. That,s not a NH in my book, anyone can play that. It,s a slow played Str8 or something and i will say Nicely played. Especially nicely bet hands. And if i say that it really is a compliment. Not just a standard reply to some-one getting booted by a Donk calling with Rags and so many players say NH ?? Don,t say NH to them.
If I say Nice Hand to you. Take it as a real compliment. You used your cards well and maximized your Pot. You bet your hand well hiding the obvious. Or you called a Big Bet when you had 15 Outs and made your hand against the Dumb Bully.
When I say NH ,,,  it means something !!!

So please don,t give compliments to them; the satisfaction of calling an ALL In for their chips Early on in the game and hitting there tripp 4,s on the River. They will only come back DONKING with more confidence in the future. And ruining games either way because they Double up a Real player with a Real hand right away, who will be harder to beat and put you behind 3k.

True, My pet peeve is when someone says NH to someone who wins on a suckout. Most people that get that message on a suckout will usually dismiss it though from what I have seen. They usually say something like "Ya Right!" or whatever, but all in all I agree. And on the same notion you should say GG to the guy that got sucked out on...  Grin Because they did play a good game & got skeeeerewed... lol

ya I just lost to day with QQ against J 9 offs suit.and I raised
about 7 times the big blind got called by 2 players, the flop came
j 8 2 so I think I have the best hand unless someone hit tripps.I bet
again one player folds the other player calls but was hesatant so I know he didnt have trips.so I go all in and he calls and hits his 9 for 2 pair and I get elimated.IF I had j 9 off suit and I was raised by a player all in that was playing tight the whole game the right move would be to fold but oh well thats poker.and I also agree with you only say nh if it was a nh not if the person donkeyed a good hand.

Solution to the glass is half full - half empty ......

If you are taken something out of the glass than its half empty if you are putting something in the glass than its half full..

To me, a J-9 is a garbage hand and I would throw it in the muck unless I am on the BB.  I have been sucked out several times by people holding that hand too!!

First thing I look at when saying nice hand is the felt!  A A are garbage when 5 6 9 spades hit the felt and the person had 7 8 spades as hold cards.

It's the flop what tells a story if it is good or bad hold cards.

That's why I hate free rolls, see that stuff more ,but it still is a nice hand.  I like seeing quads and straight flushes so why not type it.

Don't you wish you had them more than you do get them?  Wink

Believe it or not Tomturkey46 but I was holding 7 8 spades.  He just called big blind, I was SB, 5 to 1 on my cash to call, why not?  No I did not feel sorry for him (pity yes).  He raised 4 BB after flop,  where was I suppose to go.

Oh yea there were nh typed by a few players and why not.  Let's face the flop talks more than the hold cards and if some one played the right hold cards.  IT"S A NICE HAND!!! Shocked

A straight flush is always, always a "nice hand", even if you DON'T have it lol.

Hey if your in the hand and you lose it must have been a nice hand that beat you right? If someone draws out on you you are obviously not betting enough or trying to get more and got unlucky. If I lose a big pot I will always say nice hand cause I wouldnt be in it if it wasnt. 5 cards to see in texas hold em so what to do if the 5th card burries you. bye the way NH

ya but some times there are people playing cards like 8 2 when someone
already bet like 10 times the big blind if this person catches a hand is it
realy a nice hand or just a lucky one.

I dont play junk unles im BB but if someone plays 82 and its cause you never raised well its your fault ,if you raise and he calls with 82 offsuit and hits, its still a nice hand cause that dont hit often and if those types of donks dont call your raises with crap, junk,or medium hands you would never make money
