I joined a 1k rebuy tournament.I made to the first brake without any rebuys.I am chip leader at the table , after everyone buys the addon ,but only have the chip lead by about 2k .Should I addon or not?

I already made my decision but want to know what everyone else would off done.


add on gives you an extra 4500 chips.

How comfortable were you at the time is what I use at breaks and is there an other chance to add on at second break?

Most of the time in the above situation I will save my cash.  No guarantee of getting it back!  A penny save is like 2 earned in poker to me!

Line two in my above post tells you what I would of done then, save the cash.  Must of been small field or you were near in the money then!

The ones I go for are with larger field where you run 4 to 6 six hours for whole tournament.  Less people trying to donk out just before the break by going all in row with what ever trash in those games.

There were over 300 people in it and are just over 100 still in it.Nowheres  near the money

I rebought but wasn't going to  there was about 30 sec. left off the rebuy period and decided why not.Normally I wouldn't not off and saved the money for another tourney but when I checked it was only .80 for a rebuy.If the rebuy was more I wouldn't off bought it.

At less than $5.50 re-buy I would of done same!  But the ones I am in most of the time ( more than $5.50 ) it is no no to do so!

I am wondering when some site is going to do a bounty re-buy game.  Some people say they want it!!  I say no thank you , give the donks more reasons to go donkey all over.  Or if on tilt how quickly no more bank roll in account!!  Shocked

I'm not a big fan of rebuys and add ons,,,, but in your case I wouldn't add on,,,, like someone said a penny saved etc.
