Why do people play this format? Do people really find fast blinds better than slower blinds?

Some people like turbos since there's more action because the blinds eat into your stack muck more rapidly, which effectively encourages / forces everyone to play more hands.

I am not a big fan of turbos, only won a couple myself cause i usually play  sit n gos really tight and by the time I have had a couple of my playable hands ,most of the time im close to cashing but I like to win so I usually stay away from them unless my roll on the site is low.

I don't mind turbo if it's a ring game, limit.  I hate turbo tourneys.  The blinds go up faster than my chip stack. Tongue

Some people call me a bot!  But I do not use one, I just use my favorite hands , they come fine if not well I use money management with all the cash I got at any site so one or two out of money means nothing.  You can not win if you are not willing to lose, is my adage.

Do you practice money management or practice strategies while playing?

Turbo's are great I have my best results from them, people panic and I clean up or win that way. Cool Smiley

A lot of people play turbos when they are in tilt mode. They want to win money faster. I think turbos involve a lot lot more luck..I will only play a turbo for a small buyin fee! Turbos aren't as bad when they are multi table..

Solution to the glass is half full - half empty ......

If you are taken something out of the glass than its half empty if you are putting something in the glass than its half full..
