Any Ace with a kicker.   To many people play A 2, A 9, A J as they are going hit cards even if the flop and river do not connect, so they demand the the river to give them a hitting card. Wink

Seen it to many times is all and did it in the beginning also! Shocked Grin

AA, always get cracked by inferior hands(at least on-line) and does not come close to beening a great hand.

No doubt about my answer...The most overplayed hnd is JJ for sure! thousants of players go  all in pre flop when they got it! and Thousants of them lose and think they are the most unlucky players in the world!

AA...hands down.  So many get AA and wrongly play/overplay this hand.

I cannot tell you how often I have seen AA underplayed, allowing far too many opponents to enter the field.  I forget the exact percentages, but it goes something like this...AA against ONE other opponent with any two cards is about 80% likely to win...EACH additional opponent allowed to stay in the hand reduces the AA ability to win by some 10 to 15 percent.  With this in mind you should always raise with AA (unless ONLY one other person is in the hand already) to chase out all opponents except one.

Once cards are on the table how many times have you seen someone with AA positively burn through their chips apparently believing that AA is invincible, even when set draws, flush draws, str8 draws are OBVIOUSLY possible for the opponent.  AA is just one pair.  If the community cards are not improving your hand they are probably improving your opponents.

Tonight had A 7 and flop came 7, A, 7,  Bet pot got called, feared the worse, turn 4,  river  K,  I had opponent covered 3-1 in chips and had no fear when she went all in after river!

HAY I will lose my chips because I lose with full boat I can put as much fear in my opponent's hearts by playing the pot that way!   Oh she had K , 7 os.  At least I had A, 7 diamonds.

People play one card hands to much!  Yes K, 7 connected but for a flush or straight you 4 felt cards to connect.  So I still say other!

But overall saw 5 deals where I saw 4 of same number cards come up in 97 draws.  Why do I not see it at live game hands.  Every 20 hands you see 4 twos in two or three players going all in because one of the twos hit felt!   LOL!!!

i think the most overplayed hand is AK, its a drawing hand and most of the beginners tend to play it as made hand, if you don't hit anything at flop you are in a tight spot but ppl tend to try bluffing and end up losing

I say AK, People assume, "Hey ace king, i will win this because no one will hit two pair!!" Usually i slowly play out this hand because if they do hit, good for me, if not then i just didn't lose a lot of cash!

Even though that I would agree that the AK is a tricky hand to play and needs to be folded often, there is a hand that I think gets more play than that.  Yeah AK you will most likely be drawing with two over cards and if it is suited then even better.  But look at QQ or even JJ.  If you go all in on the flop and get called by someone with AK and either one hits, then you are in a slim drawing situation where chances are, there is only 2 queens that will help you ( or 2 jacks).  I guess what I am getting at is that with AK, you typically have a lot more outs than you would with any pocket pair.

ace queen, many people will go all in with this hand and it will get beat most of the time. Also 7 9 is overplayed on many of the sites i have been to.
