LOL! Everytime I go to PFP I have to answer some mathematics first in order to go to this site. It says that I might be a ROBOT accessing the site from wherever...LOL!

...Glad my chip was programmed to answer simple math!

Poker / What's with all the changes going with pokersites?
« on: February 09, 2011, 10:59:57 PM »
Lately, I heard a lot of changes like 1 site leaving this network then 1 site joining a different network and the scary thing for some people here is being notified that some sites are closing. What's with all the changes going with pokersites? Especially for those shutting down their site/s.

Is it local state ruling for online gambling? The site is not earning money? Competition amongst other sites?

Sports / Manny Pacquiao is the best Pound for Pound Boxer!
« on: November 16, 2010, 11:14:45 PM »
Pacquiao made us Filipinos proud again! His 8th division title, dominated Margarito in almost all rounds. He still gave kind words to Margarito during & after the fight, feeling sorry for what happened to Margarito's face.
I believe no boxer out there has ever said "sorry" to his opponent after the fight except the Pacman...
A very humble human being and a true gentleman in and outside the boxing ring. He is our pride.

To all boxing fans out there, Manny Pacman is the Man!

Carbon poker / Santa's Task List at SNGs
« on: December 03, 2008, 01:02:10 PM »

During December you might want to keep an eye on the S'n'G tab as you could be lucky enough to stumble across one of our Secret Santa SnG's! The trouble is you won't even know if it's a Secret Santa Sit'n'Go until you've registered for the tournament and all players are seated, but those lucky enough to come across one of these special Xmas tables will find a nice little surprise waiting for them!

The Secret Santa SnG's will have a unique Xmas theme which springs to life as the tournament begins. Players can also enjoy Xmas Smilies, a festive deck and even special accolades for multiple Secret Santa SnG winners!

Poker / My games today
« on: November 26, 2008, 11:46:19 PM »
I wish I had won any but none from 8 freerolls I played within the last 4hrs.
I played in 2 freerolls under 2 different forums' games (Carbon), freeroll in Bodog, 2 freerolls at Full Tilt, 2 in AP & 1 at Cake.

So far that's 8 already. I'll play more freerolls later but my big game is later at Carbon under IPM forum. Its a series of games within the month having 3 freerolls & 3 $5.50 buyin games. Currently, I'm holding the top 1 slot with 143points while the 2nd is tailing me with 127pts.
Today's game is the last game for this month & it will probably have lesser players because it's a $5.50 buyin.
I hope to win either 1st or 2nd so I can retain my top slot. The overall winner will receive additional $50 from IPM.

Wish me luck!

How about "poker items" like key chains, caps, chips, souveneirs, playing cards, shirts & jackets with poker designs, mags, poker collectibles for sale on our PFP Store?

And we can buy them either using 'real money' or 'thousands of points'.
Price must include shipment fees, etc.

I hope you don't find this a crazy idea :)

Poker tips / Warm Up With Play Money Before Real
« on: November 11, 2008, 12:00:11 PM »
I guess most of us if not yet all are now into "real money" games already. (Honestly, I started poker with "play money")

After my straight loses from SNGs, I thought I had to calm down to re-evaluate my game style. So I went back to "fun steps" (of course from Carbon which is my favorite site) using my play money credit to buyin for the chance of $1.
It didn't mean to me that I'm actually playing to finish all the fun steps to win that $1 BUT to see the cards dealt to me & learn the proper way to play it.

I think there's really something about "warming up" first before the actual game just like those who are in sports. They do stretch legs first, they do shadow bowling, doing basketball free-throws, smashing tennis balls, etc.

And my tip to others now just like what I started doing, warm up first by playing "play money". Spend about 20-25minutes maybe. Just get the feel about your hands, your strategy & your luck on that day. Then after that, go ahead & play "real money" games.

Warm Up With Play Money Before Real!

Poker / $11 coupon satellite tourney
« on: November 04, 2008, 12:22:39 AM »
I received this Carbon $11 satellite coupon from another forum.
Since my account is broke again, I immediately hooked myself in one $11 satellite game. We were only 11 players & managed to placed 3rd...I thought I already won some $, but was surprised I only won another $11 coupon & no cash.

Is it a winner-take-all tourney? Lobby says $109 for the first place. Is he only the one to get cash payout?

Some answers please? I need to know because I still have 2 coupons.
