As you can see I got bluffed once,
Missed one postion early in game,
Ran into a wall trying to set a trap &
Simply was running an Ice Cold Deck.

The night before we all had a dinner together & I talked all 5 others players
into splitting the $25 k 6 ways.
We had to be quiet about it & vowed to give them a great show insted.
We all cashed at $4 k.
They say you can never trust a poker player.
Well I think that may only be 90 % true.
I want to thank Jon Davies dearly for keeping his word.
Because of you I am now back with my two boys 16 yrs. & 7 yrs. old
They know who you are, I made sure of it.
Friends for life, just like we talked about in Vegas buddy !

u ended up splitting it six ways yuck. the only way i would agree to that deal is if i had $0 my bank account and was severly short stacked at the table.  Just my opinion

Oh ya and i might be a scum bag because if this 4k was just an agreement between you six and there was no legal documents that binded the winner to splitting the pot i would of said screw you guys im taking my 25k and never seeing u guys again

I have absolutely no morals when it comes to poker

Well it is hard to trust anyone now a days without a written agreement, but there are times when you run into the right people.

I'm not too sure thoe about two of the players. They might of did what you would do. lol Just lucky that an honest man won.  ;D

Cheers !

wow congrats to you and cant beleive that the
player was honest to there word and split the money.
If I mad a deal like that I would honour it but I think
a better deal would off been that the winner get to keep
a little extra off the cash just to keep things interesting.
Solution to the glass is half full - half empty ......

If you are taken something out of the glass than its half empty if you are putting something in the glass than its half full..

Well being that he lives in the UK, they dont tax poker winnings like they
do here in the USA.
So he got a little more out of it & got to go on to the $50 k round the very next week. So you have to add another $7,500 package to that along with
$500 in chips to do what you want with.
Plus he didnt go solo this time he took his wife with for her B-Day.
So I think he made out ok on the deal.  ;D

Ty very much & Cheers !

i want to know how it would of turned out if you were the winner.  would you have shared the pot with the other 5?  initiating the split covers yourself if you don't come out the winner.  but what if....?
it is better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it.

We all made the deal because,

#1: 4 of them got there after two wins in a row on freerolls with 3,000 players in them & two of us played a $2 buy in winner takes all / one game only to win the seat in the Dome.
A $7,500 package with $500 to spend once you got there.
Meals, rides, drinks, entertainment & lots of gifts.
Along with a Leather jacket ( With the Mansion logo on it )
So it all comes out to about $10 k in all.

#2: 5 of us cashed at the tables in the casino's the night before & all had plans on going right to them right after the game.
I sat at a $2 / $4 NL table downtown with $200 & cashed out 3 hrs. later with a little over $4 k. So now I'm around $11 k before the game.

We knew 5 of us was going home with nadda & we all played alot on Mansion in alot of games there together. It was cool for us all to meet like that.
So we talked it over a few times & then shook on it.
We all did our best to win still & put on a great show for everyone.

Yes I would of split the pot. Hell it was my idea in the first place durring our dinner the night before. We all said lets get drunk & talk about it tomarrow.
So thats what we did.
We then all split up & won a little money too.

No matter what, It was a great honnor to play on TV & we made out big time.

Cheers !
