Are you addicted to poker?
« on: September 01, 2008, 12:56:21 PM »
Hi, I've been thinking about this a little bit lately. How does one know if you are truly addicted to this game we all love? I think I may be a bit, but dont have a problem. Im not losing much if any money, I dont feel an urge to play when I've got other things planned. But when I have some free time, it just seems like the thing to do for a little rush and a fun game full of ups and downs. I've mainly been playing sit n' gos as they at least have a set time when you have to stop.

Anyway, let me know what you think about the topic, anyone know some people addicted in a bad way?

I think that if you dont base all your time around poker, then you're fine.  If you are the type that will make plans then, cancel them, or distant yourself from others just to play poker, then you might have a little problem.

My opinion is if it goes through your head too much and you have just the slightest concern that maybe it could be a problem than it probably is. Poker is just a gameand its suppose to be fun so if you stop having fun maybe take a break. and as long as you don't put a fun game in front of other important things than its all good
