MACAIN just realized it the past week. We do need a change and it can not start at the top. Everyone must get involved at whatever level they can. Donate some time and do something yourself because they will never change without us pushing them to do it.
As for McCain's speech was funny I think. He looked at the polls these past few weeks and noticed that his stance on experience was not going to work. All the speeches he had made before this was you need experience you need the same old thing (which does not work).
His VP choice does not have experience what she has brought is change. I do not agree with her views so she is making my decision a little easier. I do not think abortion is OK thats my right to think that, but I also think in medical needed, Rape, and incest abortions should be allowed. She wants a ban on them all.
I do think gun control is very much needed. MACAIN & Palin think no gun control at all should be set. We do not need assult rifles and rapid firing guns on the streets. Obama which does want to limit those guns not take them all. Hunting rifles and small fire arms he is OK with.
Offshore drilling I already spoke about look up.
The one major thing about Palin that really gets me is she talks 'thanks but no thanks' for that Bridge to Nowhere, but has asked for the most money per resident of any other state.
As mayor of Wasilla, Palin hired a lobbyist and traveled to Washington annually to support earmarks for the town totaling $27 million. In her two years as governor, Alaska has requested nearly $750 million in special federal spending, by far the largest per-capita request in the nation. While Palin notes she rejected plans to build a $398 million bridge from Ketchikan to an island with 50 residents and an airport, that opposition came only after the plan was ridiculed nationally as a "bridge to nowhere."
Next she ridiculed Omaba for being a community organizer where in the $#!* does she have the right to judge anyone that did try to make a difference in there community. She could have said that being a community organizer does not give him the experience for leading a country, but commend him for being involved. I think Obama could say the same thing about her leading the PTO it is how she started.
