Do PKT ACES hold up as much as they lose? does anyone have the percentages?
i dont do too well with them?
acse are the best possible starting hand they win around 80% of the time against random cards. the reason you are losing with aces often is you are probably not thinning the field well enough aces dont play well in multiway pots
-
i dont like pocket ace's myself as i nearly always get beat with them
-
You expect pocket Aces to win. And they usually do but thats hum hum. Players tend to only remember the Beats. ;D
-
People usually only remember when they lose with aces, but for me it's very rarely I lose with that hand. I don't like to make a small raise pre flop and try to slow play like some players do, I prefer to make a good raise and try to play against only one or two players.
-
I lost with pocket aces more than i won........have to try and only get one or two people to play when you have them and they are hard to fold even if you know you are beat
-
I lost 13 times in a row with them :'( no matter what I did I lost. But yep your best bet is to make a good raise preflop an thin things out a bit,the more people that stay in the worse your percentages will be of winning, and so on as the hand progresses to the river when somebody ends up sucking out with three deuces :'( (I hatem as much as I lovem)

im about 70/30 with ace and 10/90 with big slick
-
i do good if i raise big pre flop with them but you gotta watch out for donks who call and catch
-
AA's usually win against a random hand, but not always. Narrowing the field with a preflop raise helps a lot, but is, by no means, a sure thing winning with them.
The odds don't mean that your going to win if you have the largest % of winning, it only means the chance you have of winning. But we often forget this and assume that if the odds are in clearly in favor of your cards, you have to win or else there's something wrong with the software.
And like some have mentioned, we tend to remember the bad beats, but the times we win with pocket aces, we just take that as a given.

I got a bit of a love hate thing going with aces... You dont want to scare everyone off preflop but at the same time you dont want too many people in the pot either. I find it hard sometimes to extract the maximum amount of money from them. But I think with practice Im getting better playing them and knowing if Im beat with them too.
-
when I have pocket Aces I always go all in to thin out the pot. It is upsetting when you get beat though.

AA is my nightmare I always play them the same way just PUSH IT INN cause no matter what the outcome will be the same and its less frustrating when yoiu know how your gonna play em when you get em personally i rather not have em
