Title: Don't Get Tricked Into It !
Post by: FarOut on November 14, 2008, 08:39:47 AM
I have been getting emails all day telling me to go check out the
on-line casino's for there " No Deposit Free Chip "

Most people don't read there circle jerk rules they have set up for this.
I see it as a scam to get you to deposit your money & most will never
see it ever again.
So I am posting there rules for you to read before you get trapped into it.
If you like playing & depositing there fine, but please beware.
They are pushing this hard right now so please be careful.

Most on-line casinos have this same rule below............

RULES FOR FREE CHIPS:

If you play any of the non-allowed games with a Free Chip, all winnings will be void.

Welcome/Sign-up Free Chips have special regulations. Max cash-out on all Welcome/Sign-up free chips is the amount of the free chip with a 20X play-through.

All Free Chip promotional rules must be followed. If a Free Chip promotion has specific game restrictions, you cannot play any other games using the Free Chip.
Winnings will be paid to players that have only one casino account and have not received any previous winnings from a free chip before.
Players are not entitled to any winnings coming from Free Chips claimed while having pending cashouts. Winnings earned will be void and removed.

If you have previously enjoyed any of our non-deposit free chip offers, you will not be eligible for any successive non-deposit free chip offers until and unless you have made a real money deposit within the last three months. Only one welcome free chip will be allowed per customer.

Free Chips of $100 or more have a max cash-out of the Free chip itself.
In the event that a deposit is made prior to redeeming the free chip, then the free chip comes under the deposit match bonus stipulations listed.

If your account has been credited with a free chip, you need to complete wagering requirements in order to cash-out. In the event that you make a deposit without having cashed out the free chip, the maximum cash-out will be the free chip maximum cash-out and your deposit will be returned.

In the event that a player accrues more than the stipulated max cash-out, they must request a balance adjustment prior to making another deposit, since any winnings above the max cash-out amount are removed.

Free Chips may not be available to all geographic locations. Eligibility will be determined by casino management.

We, on occasion will reward clients with free chips between deposits. If, however a client continuously requests free chips between deposits so that the total amount of their bonuses surpasses the total amount of their deposit made, any win made even without a bonus match will be limited to 10 times the maximum cash-out.
Casino management reserves the right to terminate or refuse promotions at any time. ( END )

Also I notice that they have more Country's banned from playing,
depositing & or receiving free chips than poker does, but yet there
slamming the US market with this and no banns on any States !

Well I think I laid it out good for you all to understand it.
The rest is up to you.

Cheers !

Its not always the site sending these emails. All my sites I send emails from show the email address for the site (sent from new @ pokerfreerollpassword dot com).

Several of those that you do get look like they came from the site most do not. Other affiliates like to trick players to download from them. They will title the sending address to the name of the casino/poker room, but if you check the properties of the sending email address it will not be from the site.

Also the banner or link will contain an affiliate link it will show the poker/casino site usually with numbers and/or letters at the end. If it was really sent by the site to you the link would just be the sites web address.

I got one the other day that said it was sent from BetFred (http://banner.betfred.com/cgi-bin/redir.cgi?id=N&member=bucnright&profile=poker) and that I reached my withdraw requirement. The email said it was sent from BetFred (http://banner.betfred.com/cgi-bin/redir.cgi?id=N&member=bucnright&profile=poker) affiliates when I viewed the properties it was sent from b3ddf @ c-ui1 dot com. When I viewed the source I found it contained an affiliate link for me to register as an affiliate and the sender would get credit for sending me.

1: Watch the senders address properties
2: Only click on links in an email you think you can trust.
3: If you get an email about a room and would like to download the site and do not trust the sender of the email visit your favorite poker forum. If that forum has a link use it so the forum can continue to host events for you. If they do not have the link ask the forum owner to check the site out and get a link for you to download if he trust the site.

Most forum owners have more sources to verify a site. You must use your own judgement on trusting the forum owner. I am not asking anyone to trust me, thats up to you. I feel the forum events we advertise here and the forums hosting are trustworthy.

I'm mostly getting them right now from Poker Forums that I belong to.
The Admins. are now affiliated with them & are sending out bulk mail like
there was no tomarrow !

I just trashem, but alot of people are going to be real upset when there
money goes poof !  :o

Also there is a New Rummy site that everyone is going nuts over all the
sudden & it is really making me worry.
The site didn't tell not one single Admin. that there is a bann on 15 States.
The OFC has gone and set up the next game with them.
I have replyed to all poker forums that have sent me this notice,
( not saying how many lol ) & made them very aware of it.
Every one of them replyed back saying I was right & no they never was told about it.
What else are they hidding huh ?

OFC Rummy ? Sick if you ask me.
I'm sticking to poker & poker only. Whos with me on this ?  ::)

Cheers !

The first post I received about the OFC Rummy game assured me it was legal in the US because it is a skill game. As the only forum challenge that gets promoted at TW is the TPFC and TW is poker - only poker - I trashed the email

SO.... how did the "legal because it is a skill game" turn into a ban of 15 states?

Very true with spammers,  right now there are allot of bogus e mails being sent to people saying they can clear your credit for a few bucks to thousands of bucks that work the same way as the bogus casinos.

Once they get any info from you they have been know to open credit card accounts etc. with that info so be very, very aware of what you are doing on line.  No info giving out is the best way to be.

that online casino spam is so hard to get rid of...they have several senders.  i really can't even remember how it started.  just when i think they are gone,  poof!  they are back in triplicate!
