Ok tech gurus... here is my problem.
I can not access Pitbull Poker on this computer. It gets to 100% of step 3 of 3 and then tells me that " a connection with the server could not be established".
I contacted support... they suggested:
delete cookies and internet files ..... did that, no help
update flash player.... did that, no help
manually allow in the firewall..... did that, no help
Fred from Pitbull has exchanged emails with me and nothing helped.
I have also manually allowed it in my virus software, added Pitbull to my allowed sites on my windows and McAffee firewall, and completely took down my firewall and tried to sign in.... all no help.
WTH??? Ok, I have Windows XP OS and hubby had the same OS with the same virus protection (before I got him a new computer) he was able to play Pitbull and I wasn't.
What else can I try?

i have to manually turn off my pop up blocker or i can't complete step #3 everytime i play there.
-
Does the game window not pop up? My game window comes up just fine... but this is something I have not tried because I thought if that was it, the window wouldn't come up.
Lemme see.....
-
Nope.... didn't work >:( :'(
-
maybe uninstall it and delete your cookies and try again.
-
LOL, Pitbull is not an installed program... it plays with a flash player.
-
i forgot! :D it's on my fav's list

Have you downloaded the latest patches from Microsoft for your system? I know Bodog (http://www.bodog.eu/welcome/1169938/betting-offers/wsop-main-event-satellite.html) had a conflict with a file Vista.
-
I will try that again. Anything at this point has to help.

This use to happen to me when I was playing on someone else's computer that didn't have any poker sites on it so I would just play pitbull since it don't need to be downloaded.
I was logged in as guest when it wouldn't let me play but did let me play when I was logged in as the owner off the computer.

Ok, the Windows update did not help. It was worth a try.
I am signed in as Computer Administrator.
I am so close to giving up!
-
why don't you put joe's brains to work on it? take a rest! ;D

That's funny.... now you know, everything he knows, I taught him!!!
It is embarrassing to admit, I am actually going to college for IT. I have been searching the college library all day and still can't come up with anything.
I am so sure that it is something extremely simple that I overlooked. I feel like pulling my hair out.

try updating your IE or whatever your browser is. you may also want to check if there's new version available.
hope this helps..
good luck!
