I think it would be nice to have a live chat room on the site

Again, I believe a chat room may be available, up to Admin tho.  :)

Chat room takes up a lot of resources I might add one later on. I did add the shout box.

Another forum I'm active in tried to use the SMF chat... it was a miserable failure. The intention was to chat during forum games. But most found the chat slowed their computers down so much they were constantly getting timed out at the table

There are java based chat rooms that you can get for a website for free. It uses there bandwith and everything. they actually work pretty good..

Chat rooms can be good and bad. They have several good reasons to have them and several bad reasons to have them. Lots of friends like to chat and some times when new chatters try to break into there lives this member is not liked by one and also can become like a chat room clique. Setting up a place for chatters to meet is easy. Keeping the room fair with no colusion in Private message and passing out passwords and what not are all things that can make it a bad thing.
On the other hand getting to know members makes for good friends so it is great to see when it is used properley

Well now that we are getting a bigger Base of People it would be good so we could organize a event.

I agree with Whitewolf, the shout box is cool. :)
