Raising preflop is a matter of position as well as cards.  But in answer to your question I would say, raise with PP AA-1010 preflop.

ME personally like smaller pokets cause the seem lower on the radar if you happen to trip your poket 5's and your raised them , and the flop is say A J 5 you will get action and big pots i belive.

you can raise pre flop with any cards
it all depends on the players and
how many are at your table and if you
think you can out play them after the flop
all depends on the situation.thats my opinion anyways
Solution to the glass is half full - half empty ......

If you are taken something out of the glass than its half empty if you are putting something in the glass than its half full..

Raising preflop puts you on every one's radar!  The question I have what are you comfortable with to put you on every one's radar screen?

I mix my playing styles up!  I just did it with 2 4 diamonds and got by , when the flop was 5s 6c Ad, every one checked except me, wanted to get the two other players off their hands, one just called, turn was 3h, he bet I called, river 7c, he all in I showed the straight he showed Ah, 7s.  I had position thou to.  He wined losing to a 7 high straight.  But my view was the best hand he could of had was 3 Aces.

I use position more than cards to raise.  If you have a person going all in it puts to much pressure on you.  I want to have one or two options when I raise, helps in reading opponent!  But I like cheap flops!!

Do you like cheap or expensive flops to hit nothing or be out flopped? ???
