Karma
« on: September 04, 2008, 02:04:50 PM »
I really like the smite/applaud feature of this software.

So, I was wondering if there would be a way to get a drop down box for karma like exists for referrals. It would be nice to see what posts are earning Karma and what posts aren't. You never know the mind of the deviants frequenting this site... and I'd like to!

hmm, wasn't quite sure how you get karma, so now i know-from posting.  looks like i got some already. hehe.  now about the smile...i will smile if you send me some credits.
it is better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it.

SMITE

Not smile.

The APPLAUD/SMITE buttons are available for anyone. They are used to give a poster positive or negative encouragement concerning that post. This 'encouragement' is catalogued by 'Karma'.

:-\  Do you mean that you do not believe in applauding or smiting other people's posts?  ???

I think this is a good feature...

It would be interesting to see what posts are getting good or bad reactions.

Interesting!! I started to think about karma, since I have been given a few and do not from whom or for what?  ???

Not complaining, but when not playing poker got down time and wonder about it!  In a 5 min break now for an example.   :)

I saw that someone had -1 Karma and thought that was hilarious. I wondered how they got negative karma until i noticed the smite button. Glad they dont count for you or against you though.

I think it would be nice to know why you got good or bad Karma !  I know highstick is questioning how his bounces.

Should make person do an explanation in a pop up box, sender of good or bad karma does have attach name but give the explanation as to why or no karma given or taken. :D

Maby karma should count for something like give credits
or a special game at the end off each week or month for
the members with the highest karma this will stop members
from playing with someones karma or maby if that happened
people would be playing with the karma even more.Just a suggestion
what do you think.

This is true things are fine the way they are but would be
nice to see what you are getting smited for.
