Sharing passwords
« on: October 13, 2008, 09:49:26 PM »
Tonight I had 3 players accounts closed for joining our private event.

One player gave me the persons name that gave him the password. Carbon is working on getting all the info they can for the players that shared the event.

The members below had purchased the password from the store one of the members is a thief that shared the event. Once Carbon gets back to me this post will be deleted and that member will be dealt with. Everyone name is on the list for now even mine. Do ot worry about anything if you were not the one to share the event.

Question I have is how about having a list automatically drawn up as a person purchases a store item?  The list could automatically deleted if there is no trouble with the event.

Last night I wasted some time checking out what was going on with names.  An example is that |Romania I asked about when we were at same table.

When the game is onsale now the item is left in the players inventory even after it is used. So when you view the store item click the who owns this item and the list will show.

Suggestion for deteriing sharing, perhaps I am too heavily involved in my economics class but I suggest when passwords get shared you raise the cost to discourage and devalue credits, as they are worth less if anyone can get the pass, if you do this everytime by the time its up to 850 credits to buy pw it probably wont happen anymore.

You can start by asking patsfanjjb how come hes a moderator on a PW sharing site that is encouraging its members to reveal this forums passwords...

Strange how hes a member on almost every forum you can find on the internet that holds private freerolls

Cardschat - BANNED
4Kingpoker - Admitted hes a moderator on that site
Pokerspace - Admitted hes a moderator on that site
HERE - Hes registered
Freerollarmy - Registered
Rounders Radio - Registered
Bankrollarmy - Registered.

This bloke is a PW sharer. By his own admission..

If you dont want your PWs revealed then ban this clown asap.

Well first things first ffindingnemo!  Got to catch patsfanjjb sharing PFP pass words before banning him, but until patsfanjjb is not caught doing it patsfanjjb can not be banned.

Have to be just with one and all!  Thank you for the info and I am sure Poker Freeroll Password will be watching.  Take care and hope to see you at the tables.

Its strange hes banned from other forums for revealing PWs and a self confessed moderator on a freeroll leaking site.

Amazingly guess whos name is amongst those listed as being registreed on that Carbon list...

You dont have to be a rocket scientist..

I belong to more forums than I can shake a stick at.
Does that mean I'm a pw thief ?
I tell you what, ban me then for playing as much as I can.
I never got the note saying there was a limit as to how many one can belong to.

And where do you get off calling members Bloke's & Clowns ?

I'm ok folks, LOL I will quit as I am still ahead now.

Cheers !

This is obviously something for the administration here to investigate. I would like to make a suggestion. If anyone has any evidence or other correspondence, they should pm a member of the PFP staff, rather than making open posts.

No way should it be keept behind closed doors.
He has passed out our pw's before, so it should be made known to all members.
The more pessure you put on someone like that, the better I say.

Cheers !

patsfanjjb8 was the member he was warned and dealt with his account at Carbon was closed for one week. If any forum owner ever reports him as sharing or joining a private event. All his players accounts network wide on Merge will be closed for good. I gave him a one week ban to prove my point. He has stated on other forums that a poker site will not close a players account. He found out that I can and other owners can also now maybe he learned his leason maybe he didn't only time will tell.

time always tells all.   heavy duty dirty stuff.  it's so much easier to just stay nice and clean. 8)
it is better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it.
