A good friend of mine (who's a graphic artist) created this image when he learned that me & my wife were having some trouble...

Ouch !  Sorry to read that and hope every thing gets resolved for the better.  Every path has it's advantages along with disadvantages.

Hope You both communicate and trust each other and do not hold back any thing.  Truth is the first pill for a cure.

Take care and good luck to you both.

that is a very depressing picture.  i hope your friend can come up with something a bit cheerier and hopeful til things get better for you and your wife.  i hope you work it out. hugs.
it is better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it.

I am sorry to hear this as well, but keep your chin up.
I will say this tho. Its better to have problems with one than to
not have one to have problems with.
I say it like this because I lost mine due to a drunk driver just last yr.
3 days before the day we first started dating.
It was the day before the 4 th. of July that we got together 11 years ago.
I married her in Nov. 2006 right after playing poker on TV.
Today as matter of fact would of been our 2 nd. anniversary.
I decided to blow off working today & try to keep my self from going nuts.
Allot of my family & friends stopped by & hung out with me.
I played a few games but wasn't in the mood to.
Just did it to keep my mind off of it for a little while.

I almost gave up everything I loved to do forever, but somehow I found
my way back. I'm really not over it, nor do I think I ever will be.
I couldn't even play poker on-line with out tossing things all over the house.
Thanks to my two wonderful sons ( now 16 & 7 yrs. old ) I am surviving it.
If I didn't have my boys to look out for, I would of ended my pain I'm afraid.
So instead I took time out from everything & closed down both of my poker forums. Not something I wanted to do but just couldn't cope with it at the time.
It took me until a few months ago to finally come back and do what I do best.
I am slowly rebuilding a forum of my own again and hope to open it by Jan. 2008.

So before I get all tearjerked, I hope you two work things out because
life is just way too damn short & we all need to try to make the best of it.

As for me, I will die as an old lonely man by choice.
She will be forever in my heart & thoughts.

Ok I need about 4 shots of Yegermister & RedBull after this.  :'(

Cheers !

i cry for you. :(
that is the saddest story i've ever heard in my entire life.  it was painful for me to read it so i can't fathom the sorrow of having to live it.
i hope you can make it for your kids sake.
and for your sake i hope it gets easier.

it is better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it.

reading your story drunker1 really touched me. thank you for sharing it because it will definitely inspire me to fix my problem with my wife. we still have 3 kids (3 girls) to raise & we need each others help to give our children something good in their lives.

i also hope the best for you & your boys. i hope they grow full of love just like their dad.
